這是Beth Orton在2006年2月7日發(fā)行的專輯，這張由14首歌組成的專輯在2005年春于紐約的Sear Sound studio錄制的，由許多出色的音樂家及作曲家Jim O'Rourke制作，Jim O'Rourke就是Sonic Youth的吉它手和鼓手，他先前還與許多不同的樂隊和歌手合作過，像：Wilco, Stereolab等。

Comfort of Strangers，這張Beth Orton的第四張專輯，在兩周內(nèi)錄完，Beth Orton為所有歌作曲，歌曲名由他及O'Rourke和M. Ward來命的。Beth Orton負責吉它，鋼琴和口琴部分，O'Rourke負責貝斯，鋼琴和馬林巴琴，鼓則由在美國相當受尊敬的打擊樂器家Tim Barnes來敲。
