Central Reservation

1970年12月出生于英國Norwich的Beth開創(chuàng)了一種全新的風(fēng)格，就是將傳統(tǒng)的民謠和Trip-Hop完美的結(jié)合起來，她在發(fā)行自己的專輯之前同William Orbit，Chemical Brothers等人合作過，并且William Orbit還參與了以后她專輯的制作。

她先是在1993年發(fā)行過一張叫Superpinkymandy的EP，據(jù)說在日本取得了不錯(cuò)的成績。在1996年她的全新EP名叫She Cries Your Name發(fā)行，隨后是首張專輯Trailer Park，像She Cries Your Name，Galaxies Of Emptiness和翻唱的I Wish I Never Saw The Sunshine都是十分不錯(cuò)的歌。

1997年她發(fā)行了Best Bit EP，隨后同爵士民謠的傳奇人物Terry Callier一起制作她的新專輯Central Reservation，1999年發(fā)行后，Central Reservation立刻成為暢銷，并且專輯中的Stolen Car還成為大學(xué)點(diǎn)播率很高的熱門單曲，甚至帶著這張專輯上美國巡演的她也受到了美國人的喜愛。

所以很容易明白R(shí)yan Adams為什么會(huì)參與到她第三張專輯Daybreaker的創(chuàng)作群里來了，同時(shí)創(chuàng)作這張專輯的還有Chemical Brothers。
